Moses Hammett, M.H.S.

Moses Hammett, M.H.S., is the Principal Consultant at Hammett Solutions, LLC. Before starting his consultancy, he spent 19 years at the Center for Urban Families, where he served as the Director of Workforce Development and Partnership Liaison. Prior to his work at CFUF, Moses coordinated substance abuse treatment services contracts with the U.S. District Courts of Maryland, Federal Bureau of Prisons, and Federal Parole and Probation at the University of Maryland Drug Treatment Center. With over 35 years of experience in human services, Moses has worked with justice-involved juveniles, returning citizens, and others in need of behavioral health therapy. Before transitioning into human services, he was a District Sales Manager and Independent Distributor for the Baltimore Sun Newspapers and USA Today.

In his consulting roles, Moses is often called upon to develop relationships and partnerships with local organizations to address complex issues. His background in clinical work, workforce development, and partnership building enables him to forge new alliances to support and sustain important initiatives and programs throughout the city.

Moses completed his undergraduate studies at Morgan State University and earned his master’s degree in human services from Lincoln University, Pennsylvania. He also holds numerous certificates in substance abuse treatment and mental health. A native of Baltimore, Moses continues to reside in the city with his wife and family.

Moses serves on the board of directors for several local non-profit organizations and mentors those aspiring to make positive changes in the City of Baltimore.
